If you frequently use Google Docs on your Android tablet, the good news is that Google has updated the Google Docs app for Android, and has supposedly optimized it for use on Honeycomb based tablets. The updated app is expected to take advantage of the larger screens and will sport a 3 column design, along with the ability to view a thumbnail of the document to preview it and view certain details about it, i.e. permissions.

It will also feature auto-complete and support for both landscape and portrait modes and improved video playback. The app remains free, so head on down to the Android Market and download your copy today.
