If you were hoping to pre-order your iPhone 4S and get it delivered to you on the 14th of October as initially promised, you may be out of luck, especially if you weren’t ahead of the queue on the 7th of October which was when the pre-orders started. Apple has now indicated that estimated shipping times for the iPhone 4S has been pushed to 1-2 weeks, with AT&T informing prospective iPhone 4S buyers that their phones will take 21-28 days to ship.
Verizon has now listed shipping to be on the 21st of October, while Sprint appears to still have stock in the higher end models, namely the 32GB and 64GB that is expected to be delivered on the 14th/15th of October.
