ASUS’s next generation Transformer tablet revealed

Yes, it is official! For those who have been eagerly looking forward to the successor to ASUS’s wildly successful Transformer tablet, it has been confirmed by ASUS’s chairman, Johnny Shih at the AsiaD event. Previously a teaser video had been released on YouTube, but as you can see in the photo above, that will be the device users will be able to expect, and we have to say that is pretty darn sleek!

It measures 8.3mm thin and like the rumors had suggested, the Transformer Prime will be running on NVIDIA’s quad-core Tegra 3 processor and a battery that they are claiming holds a charge for 14.5 hours. Apart from that no further details were given out, but mark the 9th of November down on your calendars as that is when ASUS will be making a formal announcement.
