ASUS Transformer 2 to be released 7th November?

With the success of their Eee Pad Transformer Android tablet, it’s natural that ASUS has plans to release a successor, something that we have mentioned in the past. While we do not know when exactly the Transformer 2 will be seeing a release, an electronics component website called Lambda Tek Component Shop has put up a listing for an ASUS device, identifiable only by its model number.

The model number has listed it as the TF201, and it appears that this device will sport NVIDIA’s Tegra-3 quad-core processor along with 1GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It has also listed a possible shipping date as the 7th of November, and has listed the price as £537.85 including VAT. While it does not specifically state that this is the Transformer 2, its model number along with its processor has many speculating that this could be it. If this is true and 7th of November is when the Transformer 2 starts shipping, we expect more details and possible photo leaks to start popping up along the way.
