Remember the ASUS Padfone that was revealed several months ago? For those who don’t remember, it’s essentially a tablet with a phone that can be detached. For those who want to own both a tablet and a phone, the Padfone looks like it could be the answer. As to when it will be made available? Well, while no specific dates were mentioned, ASUS’s chairman, Johnny Shih mentioned during the AsiaD conference that the Padfone has a release date some time in Q1 of 2012 and is still working with various carriers on availability.
