For those unfamiliar with the Aliyun operating system, it is China’s Alibaba’s answer to Android. It’s rather ironic considering that Alibaba is also China’s answer to Google. Now previously they had released an Aliyun-based handset called the W700, but now it looks like the company has plans to launch the successor to the W700, the W800.

Specs of the device remain unknown at this point, apart from the fact that it will run on a 1GHz NVIDIA Tegra-2 processor, much like its predecessor, with the main difference being that the W800 will sport a larger display at 4.3”. As you can see in the photo above, the company also has plans to launch a tablet based on Aliyun, but specs of that tablet remain a mystery for now.
