Team-TouchDroid delivers multitouch to the HP TouchPad

The HP TouchPad has rather decent specs, and while webOS may not have been widely adopted, we’re sure that the fire sale of $99 for the base model tablet has caused many to hop aboard the TouchPad bandwagon. Let’s not forget that there are Android developers who are hard at work attempting to port Android over to the TouchPad.

So far it has been a slow, but steady, progress, and recently Team-TouchDroid appears to have gotten a set of Android drivers working on the TouchPad, making it capable for 10-point multitouch. If you were lucky and quick enough to pick up the tablet for a mere $99, we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time before you find yourself with a TouchPad running on Android! All of that for just $99, not too bad, right?
