Sony Tablet S up for order on HSN

Interested in getting your hands on Sony’s new tablets? Sony is a bit late to the tablet game with their Tablet S and Tablet P, with the latter being a clamshelled device which is reminiscent of the Kyocera Echo, but I guess better late than never, right?

Well if you want to get the Tablet S, the good news is that it seems that you can now order the Tablet S through the Home Shopping Network for a whopping $599 for the 16GB model. This is rather expensive considering that on Amazon you are able to pre-order the 16GB model for $499 which is $100 cheaper.

We can’t be sure as to why HSN is more expensive, but if you’re looking for a better price it appears that Amazon is probably your best bet. For those who forgot, the Sony Tablet S will be sporting an NVIDIA Tegra-2 dual-core processor while running on Android’s Honeycomb platform. It will be available in either 16GB or 32GB storage and will come with a full-sized SD card slot.
