Sony Ericsson Nozomi to feature duo-core processor?

A while back we reported that Sony Ericsson had plans to release a new flagship device known as the Nozomi. At that time of reporting, it was suggested that the device would be sporting a 1.4GHz single-core processor which was slightly disappointing especially given the amount of dual-core devices are available in the market today.

It was a bit odd that they would go for a single-core processor for their upcoming flagship model that is expected to see a release next year, but now it seems that there are whispers that the device will actually be seeing a 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon instead of the 1.4GHz single-core that was reported at that time.

As with all rumors its best taken with a grain of salt, but we hope that it will at the very least be dual-core if Sony Ericsson hopes to compete in the smartphone market next year!
