Samsung SCH-W689 sports dual SIM cards and Bada

Bada in the US market is probably not as popular in Europe as we tend to favor other platforms such as iOS, Android and Windows Phone 7, but yet we don’t doubt that there are Bada fans in the US, so for those out there you may want to keep an eye out for the Samsung SCH-W689.

The device is a clamshelled phone with two touch screens, one inside and one outside, both measuring at 3” and 3.2” respectively. It also sports two SIM card slots and appears to support both GSM and CDMA networks, which will be great should it make its way to the US.

Unfortunately compared to the other smatphones out there today, the SCH-W689 is not really that amazing in terms of specs. It features a 455MHz processor, a 3.2MP camera and it appears to be only running on Bada 1.1, although we’re not sure if Bada 2.0 will be making its way onto the device. The bad news is that the device appears to be only available in China at the moment, so for now those in the US market who are thinking about getting their hands on the Samsung SCH-W689 are out of luck.
