Samsung Galaxy Y headed to Vodafone UK

If you’re in the market for an affordable smartphone, Samsung’s Galaxy Y (the Y is for Youth) will be made available in the UK soon. It looks like it will be arriving on Vodafone and as far as specs are concerned, don’t expect to be getting the greatest and the latest.

It will be sporting a 3” QVGA display while running on an 832MHz processor. It will also be running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 platform, but unfortunately no word on how much it will cost or when it will be making its way onto the US market. If you’re living in the UK and you’re shopping for an Android smartphone that won’t break the bank, the Samsung Galaxy Y is something you may want to consider.

If you wish to get updated on pricing and availability, just head on down to Vodafone’s website and register yourself for updates!
