Samsung Galaxy S Glide headed to Rogers Canda

If you’re looking for a slide out QWERTY keyboard version of the Samsung Galaxy S2, it looks like Rogers in Canada may have something very similar with the Galaxy S Glide. As you can see from the photo above, the touch screen portion is pretty similar to the Galaxy S2, with the main difference being that it’s thicker due to the slide out keyboard underneath it.

As far as the hardware is concerned, it will be running on a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with an 8MP rear facing camera and a 1.2MP front-facing camera. It will also sport a 4” Super AMOLED display, so while its specs may not truly be a Galaxy S2, it’s pretty darn close with a QWERTY keyboard to boot. No word on pricing or availability at the moment, although some are thinking it will most likely make its way onto the carriers in time for the holidays.
