NVidia Tegra-3 tablets coming in either Q3 or Q4 2011

NVidia has a Tegra-3 “Kal-El” processor that is quad-core. At the moment it does not appear that any device is sporting the quad-core processors just yet, but the good news is that if you don’t mind holding out until the end of Q3 or Q4, NVidia has announced that there will be a couple of new tablets hitting the market that will be featuring its quad-core processor.

In the world filled with dual-core processors at the moment, a tablet running on a quad-core processor will definitely set itself apart from the market. Unfortunately NVidia did not mention when the quad-core processors will be making its way to smartphones, so for now I guess we will have to be content with quad-core tablets.
