The problem with our smartphones these days is that they consume way too much battery. Given the processing power under the hood and the various activities we do on our devices, such as watch movies, play music, games, run applications, etc, we guess this is all part and parcel of owning a smartphone. However a recent Huawei device has been unveiled and the company is claiming that the device will feature the longest battery life in the 4” screen range.

The Huawei Honor will feature a rather large 1,900mAh battery and a 4” FWVGA capacitive touch screen. Under the hood is shown to be a 1.4GHz processor with an 8MP in the rear and a 2MP camera in the front. It will also come with 512MB of RAM with 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a 32GB microSD card. It will also be running on Android’s Gingerbread 2.3.5. It is expected to be made available come Q4 2011 in China, Russia and the Middle East – no word on if it will be arriving in the states any time soon.
