HTC Kingdom to arrive on US Cellular as HTC Hero S?

It looks like US Cellular is starting to get their hands on a fair number of mid-high end Android handsets, and if the reports are to be believed, the HTC Kingdom may be headed their way as well, however it may be sporting a different name and may be known as the HTC Hero S.

As far as specs are concerned, the HTC Hero S will be sporting a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with 768MB of RAM. It will feature a 4” qHD display and a 5MP/1.3MP rear/front facing camera. No word on which version of Android it will be running on although more likely than not it should be running in Gingerbread 2.3

As for other carriers, it seems that it will be arriving on Alltel as the HTC Acquire and will be landing on Sprint as the HTC EVO Design 4G, so if you’re not on US Cellular and the HTC Hero S/Kingdom caught your attention, look out for the other names we just mentioned!
