Google pulls ebook purchases from iOS Google Books app

If you are an avid ebook buyer of Google Books, the bad news is that you will not be able to purchase ebooks directly from the iOS app anymore. Google has apparently sent out an email informing their users about this change, which is apparently due to an Apple policy. We’re guessing that policy is the same one that has forced other content providers such as Amazon to remove the ebook purchasing functionality in their app in favor of a link that takes the user to the online store.

You will still be able to purchase your ebooks from both Google and Amazon, just know that now it will probably be a little less convenient than it was before.
