TabCo was the pseudonym that Fusion Garage used when it attempted a form of viral marketing for their upcoming tablet, the Grid 10. For those who forgot, the Grid 10 will be running on Fusion Garage’s version of Android, which is basically Android but with a modified kernel.

The bad and good news for early adopters is that unfortunately the tablet will be seeing a delay. Originally slated for a 15th of September release, it has now been pushed back to the 1st of October. The good news is that the original prices for the Grid 10 which was set at $499 for the WiFi model and $599 for the 3G model, has now been dropped an additional $200.

For those who may have forgotten about the Grid 10, it will be sporting a 10.1” 1366×768 display while running on an overclocked 1.2GHz NVIDIA Tegra-2 dual-core processor. It will feature 512MB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage and will come with a 1.3MP webcam. At the moment it appears that Amazon’s pre-order page for the Fusion Garage Grid 10 tablet is still listed as $499 for the WiFi only model. If you have plans to place an order, we suggest you should probably wait until the new price is reflected in the system to avoid complications.
