Cellular South sues AT&T over T-Mobile merger

It looks like not many want the AT&T and T-Mobile merger to succeed. When the idea was initially announced, Sprint was the most vocal against the merger, which was later supported by the DOJ who filed a lawsuit in an attempt to stop the merger. Sprint later hopped on board with an antitrust lawsuit of their own and now it looks like another carrier has decided to join the party.

According to the reports, Cellular South, the ninth largest carrier in the US by customers, has filed their own lawsuit. They are claiming that the merger will substantially lessen competition and cause significant losses and damages. At this point in time with so many against the merger, it’s starting to look like the merger may actually fall through.
