AT&T lets T-Mobile users keep their existing plan even if merger goes through

It sounds like AT&T is trying to do everything in their power to make sure the merger with T-Mobile goes through. They are reported to be attempting to sell some of their assets to their competitors in order to look like they’re keeping competition alive and well, and now it seems that on the customer side of things, users on T-Mobile will be pleased to know that should the merger go through, you will be able to keep your existing T-Mobile plans as opposed to choosing a new one.

This will continue even after your current plan has expired and you will be able to keep your plan going on a month-to-month basis. No mention of upgrades but we’re guessing that should enter you into an entirely new contract, but for those not looking forward to switching plans, it looks like you will be able to keep them for now.
