Heads up China users, if you were hoping and wishing that the 3G version of the iPad 2 will be making its way to you, it looks like your wish has finally be granted. It appears that the 3G iPad 2 has been confirmed to be headed to the China market by Apple come this Wednesday (today) and will be available via Apple’s online and retail stores.

However with 3G it would require a carrier to provide the services, but it seems that Apple’s only Chinese carrier partner, China Unicom, has been relatively quiet about this. Despite other carriers available in the country, it seems that China Unicom is the only one that can support the HSPA 3G found in the iPad 2. Either way we’re guessing it’s only a matter of time before China Unicom unveils their plans and rates, but for now it looks like a step in the right direction.
