Verizon will not be bringing in the Samsung Galaxy S II?

Verizon users prepare to be disappointed. According to BGR, it seems that Verizon will be the only carrier not to carry the Samsung Galaxy S II handset. Instead it seems that Verizon has opted for another device whose specs are near-identical to the Samsung Galaxy S II.

We’re guessing that Verizon’s version will be comparable, if not similar to the Galaxy S II as it does not make sense for them to be the only carrier passing on what is considered to be the smartphone of the year.

Who knows, perhaps Verizon might be bringing in a phone with specs that match the Galaxy S II but will also feature 4G LTE, how’s that for consolation? Either way I guess we will have to wait and find out what Verizon has up their sleeves!
