Sprint’s Nexus S first to experience updated Swype

Published

on

If you’re a Nexus S owner on Sprint’s network, the good news is that you guys will be the first to receive the Swype update. The updated version of the Swype will bring App Gestures that allows users to select a portion of text, and through a keyboard shortcut, the text will be sent to the app. So for example you typed out a Twitter message that would like to post to your Twitter account, so all you would have to do is select the text, Swype “T” to “W” for the Twitter shortcut, and the app will be launched with the text already filled in.

You should be notified of the update already, but if you have not, just head on down to Swype’s Sprint page for the update.
