Sprint will be carrying the iPhone 5 (rumors)

The iPhone remained exclusively with AT&T until the iPhone 4, where it saw a CDMA version make its way to Verizon. This means that the remaining two major carriers in the US did not have the iPhone, but according to the Wall Street Journal and their sources, it seems that when the iPhone 5 is launched, Sprint will be one of the carriers that will be carrying the phone.

There have been previous rumors a while back that suggested Sprint was undergoing testing of the iPhone 5 at their Kansas City HQ, and a job posting by Apple even suggested that as well, so I guess we will have to wait and see.

The iPhone 5 was originally rumored to see a September release but now they are saying that it has been pushed to October, with the device being up for pre-order come end of September.
