Sprint increases penalty for breaking contracts

Published

on

Some users opt not to buy into phone contracts as this limits their freedom, although that usually means that they will have to pay a lot more for their handsets. Naturally you are allowed to break your contract if you choose to, but that involves a penalty, and perhaps in a bid to hold on to their remaining customers, Sprint has increased the penalty from $200 to $350.

The good news is that this increase will apparently only affect future customers that sign up for contracts from the 9th of September onwards, so if you’ve been considering entering into a new contract with Sprint perhaps it’s best you sign up before 9th of September!
