Sony Ericsson Xperia Play owners you’re in luck as it seems that developers within the Android community are working on their own version of rooting the device! While the device isn’t exactly new, it seems that the fact that it is a PlayStation phone have apparently made the process slightly more complicated than your typical Android device. Even though Sony Ericsson has apparently released a bootloader of their own, if you prefer the developers community’s version of a root then you may not have to wait very long.
