A fan of Samsung products? Well the good news is that Samsung has unveiled several new Android-based devices, just in time for IFA which will be held in Berlin. They have unveiled four new handsets and we’ll take a look at the Y series first.

The Y series in Samsung’s lineup is targeted at the youth market, hence the Y for “Youth”. For starters we have the Samsung Galaxy Y which will be running on Gingerbread 2.3 and will feature a 832MHz processor. It will also sport a 3” 320×240 LCD display along with a 2MP camera and will come with Swype preinstalled.

Next up is the Samsung Galaxy Y-Pro, which essentially is the Galaxy Y with the main difference being in its design and its screen resolution. The design of the Galaxy Y-Pro, as pictured above, will feature a Blackberry-like design with a QWERTY keyboard. Given that the Y series are targeted at the youth market, the devices should come with a pretty affordable price tag attached.
