Pierre Cardin launches “fashionable” 7″ tablet

Are you fashion and brand conscious? If you are then perhaps Pierre Cardin’s own tablet might be something worth considering. Unfortunately it does not appear as if the tablet has a name of its own but it will be running on Android’s Froyo 2.2. Given that Gingerbread 2.3 has been out for a while now we’re not sure why the manufacturers for the tablet did not go for it instead.

It will feature a 1.0Ghz Samsung Cortex-A8 CPU, 512mb of memory, 800×480 resolution capacitive touchscreen. It will also cost you $387 which seems a bit costly for a tablet that doesn’t seem very impressive, but then again we’re thinking that the people who buy this tablet are probably more interested in the brand name rather than its specs.
