Motorola is open to the idea of Windows 8

Most, if not all of Motorola’s smartphones and tablets are running on Android. With the upcoming DROID Bionic and the Motorola Xoom being some of the more popular Android devices, it appears that the company has not discounted the possibility of employing the use of the Windows 8 platform in their future products.

Microsoft’s Windows 8 seems to be heavily inspired by the Metro theme found in Windows Phone 7 through the use tiles. To be more specific, Windows 8 has also been touted to be tablet-centric which could be why Motorola is open to the idea that perhaps one day they might deploy it in their future products.

Given that Windows 8 is not even out yet, I guess we will just have to take Motorola’s word for it.
