Motorola FLIPSIDE gets Froyo 2.2 update

Android fragmentation has always been of the main concerns when consumers are thinking about making the jump over to Android. Admittedly there are plenty of great Android handsets out there but the fact that your OS may not be seeing the next major update for a good couple of months (or even a year) after its release is a bit discouraging.

Such is the case with the Motorola FLIPSIDE which has just received its Froyo 2.2 update. Yes, you read that right. While other devices are slowly (but surely) moving to Gingerbread 2.3, there are some devices only getting bumped into Froyo 2.2.

Either way, we’re sure updates are always welcome no matter how late, so for those who own the Motorola FLIPSIDE, just head on down to Motorola’s website on the instructions on how to download the update and flash it from your microSD card.
