LG Optimus Sol to launch in Europe

Looking for a device similar to the Samsung Galaxy S? Yes, we know it’s a year too late but for some reason LG is pushing out a device named the Optimus Sol, which is almost exactly like the Samsung Galaxy S just with a different name.

It will feature a 1GHz processor with a 3.8” “Ultra AMOLED” display with 480×800 resolution along with a 5MP camera. Unfortunately no word on how much the Optimus Sol will cost, although judging by its specs and the fact that its “competitor” the Samsung Galaxy S is already a year old, we don’t expect the device to be overly expensive, especially given that there are better Android devices out there with much better specs.

The LG Optimus Sol is expected to be available in Europe this September; no word on if and when it will arrive to the states.
