LG Enlighten to launch on Verizon 25th August?

If you’re in the market for an Android device that came with a slideout keyboard and one that won’t break the bank, perhaps Verizon’s LG Enlighten could be a device worth considering. If you’re wondering why it looks familiar, it’s because it’s actually the LG Gelato Q which has been renamed to the LG Enlighten when it came over to Verizon.

The device is said to be released come 25th August and will feature an 800MHz processor along with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3. Not too bad, at least it didn’t come with Froyo 2.2. We’re guessing that based on its somewhat spartan specs that it will not be competing with the other higher-end Android devices, but it should be priced low-mid range which will be great for those on a budget.
