Lenovo ThinkPad gets priced and a release date

Several weeks ago we reported that Lenovo had three tablets lined up for release, and one of them was the ThinkPad that was created for the business user in mind. At the time of posting we did not know when and how much the tablet in question would cost, but Lenovo has finally revealed those details.

If the specs of the ThinkPad caught your attention, then you will be pleased to know that the tablet will be available starting from the 23rd of August for a price of $479.99. For those who have forgotten,the ThinkPad will feature a 1GHz dual-core processor, front and back-facing cameras and includes a number of connectivity options, such as  HDMI output, USB 2.0 port, micro USB port, SIM card slot, 3-in-1 memory card reader.

It will also feature compatibility with a stylus, much like the HTC Stylus although now word if the stylus will come free with the tablet or will it be sold separately. Also if you require more storage capacity, the 32GB model will cost $589 and a keyboard case will be sold separately for $99.
