Google accidentally reveals updated Google search app for Android

Published

Perhaps by accident, Google has accidentally revealed their update to their Android search app, bring several new features to it which while aren’t exactly mind blowing, should provide a better search experience overall.

The update will group suggestions by type and those living outside of the US will see country-specific suggestions, as long as they are in a country with a Google domain (i.e. Google Singapore, Google Malaysia, etc). It even allows you to clear you search history which may save you an awkward moment or two. It has undergone a UI makeover, providing an interface which appears to be smoother and a lot more sleek.

Interested in getting your hands on the app update? Unfortunately it is not known when the update will roll out, although if they’re posting “accidental” blog spots along with screenshots, by all accounts it shouldn’t be too long.
