If you are a fan of Chrome OS, you know that Google has a stance on the platform and has said that it is meant for laptops or clam-shelled type devices. This seems to contradict the rumors that Google is working on making their Chrome browser on Chrome OS more touch friendly, including larger icons, handwriting support, screen rotation support and even brings with it an on-screen keyboard.

If you’re interested in seeing how the Chrome browser would look and function on a tablet, here’s a video worth checking out. Who knows, maybe in the future Chrome OS will be a new platform for phones and tablets, much like how Apple is merging OS X Lion with some iOS-like features, as well as how Windows 8 by Microsoft shows the possibility of being a tablet-friendly platform.
