There had been rumors going around that Samsung may not be releasing the Galaxy S2 in the States due to the ongoing patent infringement lawsuit that they are embroiled in with Apple. The rumors suggested that if Apple were to win, some of Samsung’s devices may get pulled off the shelves. Well as it turns out, everything seems to be going just fine for Samsung. In fact they even put up a register page for the Galaxy S2 device where you can put down your name and contact details and you will be notified when the device is finally ready to be sold.
Granted a specific date of release would be more welcome, but for now this appears to be a step in the right direction.
