Samsung Galaxy Q to feature a 5.3-inch foldable display?

Yesterday we reported that there were rumors that Samsung is planning to unveil a phone/tablet hybrid at IFA 2011. The device was reportedly named the Samsung Galaxy Q which is said to feature a 5.3-inch display. Now there are more rumors circulating surrounding the device and its display, which some are thinking will be a foldable display.

It was only last year where Samsung unveiled a 5.3-inch foldable AMOLED display, which might explain why some are thinking that the Galaxy Q could very well be using that technology, although Samsung did say that there would be no tablets with AMOLED displays this year. Of course Samsung could just be playing coy, considering that this could be considered a hybrid and not strictly a tablet.

I guess we will have to wait until IFA 2011 to find out for ourselves.
