Samsung EPIC 4G to start shipping with Gingerbread 2.3

A couple of days back we said that Samsung EPIC 4G users should be expecting a Gingerbread 2.3 update soon, but so far still nothing. The good news is that according to that screenshot above, it looks like the update could be close to being released, as Sprint is now advertising the EPIC 4G as shipping with Android 2.3.

However that’s pretty much as close as we can get to know when the update will be pushed out, although if we were to follow tradition, Sprint has been known to push out updates on Monday, so keep your fingers crossed!
