Nokia’s N9 will be supported for years to come

As we all know, Nokia’s N9 will be the Finnish company’s first and last MeeGo device (unless of course those Tabco rumors are true). If you are on the fence about purchasing the device because you’re worried that Nokia will not provide support and updates in the future, not to worry as Nokia’s head of portfolio management, Klas Strom, has come forward on Twitter claiming that Nokia will be supporting the N9 for years to come, and will even put out software updates for it along the way.

It is a pretty good looking device, we’ll give it that, and the MeeGo platform has shown promise, so if you’re looking to own a device that will be the first and last of its kind, you can buy it with the peace of mind knowing that support will be provided for it.
