Motorola Photon 4G now up for pre-order

Good news! If you’ve been eyeing the Motorola Photon 4G, it looks like the device is up for pre-order at Walmart’s website, and it looks like you’ll even be saving $40. Sprint will be offering the device come 31st of July, although they have stated that you should be able to pick it up a couple of days prior to the official release date, and it will cost you $199.99 on a 2-year contract. So if you were hoping to get your hands on the Photon 4G and save yourself $40, it looks like Walmart might be the way to go.

The Motorola Photon 4G will be Sprint’s first world phone with GSM radios and it comes loaded with Android Gingerbread 2.3, a a 1GHz dual-core NVidia Tegra 2 processor, 1GB of RAM, 4G radios, 16GB of internal storage, a 1700mAh battery, HDMI-out with mirroring and an 8 megapixel HD camera and a front facing camera as well. It comes with a 4.3-inch display and a kickstand too.
