Folks, it looks like the Motorola DROID3 is official! We have been teased by photos for so long and reports of dummy units hitting the stores, so it’s good to know that the device is finally available. For those who are planning to get their hands on the device, expect to pay $459.99 on a rolling monthly deal, or if that’s too rich for your taste, the DROID3 is also available on a 2-year contract for $199.99.

For those of you who are wondering what you will be getting in the DROID3, the Android 2.3 device will be running on a 1GHz dual-core processor with 16GB of storage, a 4-inch qHD display, an 8MP camera which is also capable of recording 1080p HD videos along with a front facing camera for video chat, a five-row QWERTY keyboard, DLNA, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS. It will also be a world phone with support for both CDMA and GSM.
