Could Sprint be announcing their 4G LTE this fall?

If you’re a user on Sprint’s network and you were wondering when exactly would Sprint start to deploy 4G, it looks like it may not be too long. It seems that Sprint’s CEO, Dan Hesse, has said that with regards to 4G LTE deployment, expect a big announcement this fall. We’re guessing it probably has something to do with the deal that Sprint is rumored to have with Lightsquared.

Although it is good news that Sprint may be getting 4G LTE connectivity that may or may not rival Verizon’s speeds, Sprint still has their WiMax users to think about. What this could mean is that while Sprint could be deploying 4G LTE coverage, it could be done slowly and over a longer course so as not to totally abandon their WiMax customers and leave them in the dark.
