Could AT&T’s deadline point to an iPhone 5 release date?

A leaked internal AT&T memo regarding their Mobile Insurance may have accidentally leaked the date of the next iPhone 5.

“All customers enrolling in MI must be advised of the pending MRC increase from $4.99 to $6.99 […] This occurs on October 4, 2011, in conjunction with a new tier, Device Tier 3, that is $199. iPhone and other devices will move to this tier on October 4, 2011.”

This seems like quite a coincidence, as many had speculated that the next generation iPhone will be announced come September, which means that’s only a couple of weeks later that the device should be hitting the shelves of carriers and retailers world wide. Of course the memo could have meant current generation iPhone’s, although it would not make sense for them to hike up the insurance price of the iPhone 4, especially since it would have been a relatively dated device by then.
