Concept design of the next generation Nexus device

If you were disappointed that the rumors have been debunked in our previous post regarding the Nexus 3, perhaps this concept design of the next-generation Nexus device may cheer you up. Designed by Leonard Ferraz, its shape and design would not be very far fetched, if and when the next Nexus device makes an appearance, with the concept sporting a 4.5 inch display with a screen resolution of 1024×768 pixels and running on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich 2.4.

It will also feature a “Smartbar” which lies at the bottom of the phone, as pictured above, and will be able to display details such as missed calls and text messages, and it will be completely separate from the main display, which is great since that reduces the need to load up the main display all the time to check for messages or missed calls.

The concept Nexus device will also sport an 8MP camera with Xenon flash while being powered by NVidia’s Tegra-3 processor, making it a quad-core device, along with GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, HDMI out, NFC enabled while sporting 4G radio bands. Sounds like a dream device if you ask me, so let’s hope that whoever will be making the next Nexus device won’t let us down.
