AT&T announces date and price for the HTC Status

Customers out there who may have been eyeing the HTC Status (better known as the HTC ChaCha elsewhere) will be glad to know that AT&T has finally come forward with release date and pricing. The Facebook-integrated Android phone will be arriving on AT&T on the 17^th of July and it will cost $49.99 on a 2-year contract.

The device is on pre-sale at the moment, so just head on down to AT&T’s website for more information regarding the device. AT&T has also said that Best Buy will offering up an exclusive color, so if the silver look doesn’t cut it for you, Best Buy will have an alternative.
