Apple acknowledges security flaw, working on fix

So remember when we posted that the iPad 2 was available for jailbreaking? Well it seems that the exploit used for the jailbreak could also be used by malicious hackers, which why Comex released a patch that would patch up the exploit. Ironically this means that the only iOS users who are left that are vulnerable to this exploit would be those who have not jailbroken their devices.

Apple has since released a statement acknowledging the exploit and security flaws and that they are working on a fix. No specific time frame was given regarding the fix, although knowing Apple, it could be soon. In the meantime it looks like the only way to stay safe is to jailbreak your iOS device.
