Android Honeycomb 3.2 rolling out to WiFi-only Motorola Xoom tablets

Good news Motorola Xoom WiFi owners, as it appears that the Android Honeycomb 3.2 update will be rolling out to you guys about now. Apparently part of the update should be bringing about SD card slot support that was missing ever since the Xoom was launched.

We’re not sure why it took Motorola this long to finally include the SD card slot support, but at least it’s here now, better late than never, right? Probably not since that issue may have deterred potential Xoom owners from purchasing the device, but it’s good news for current and future Xoom owners.

The bad news is that the update seems to be for the WiFi only models, although we’re guessing that the Verizon version of the update shouldn’t be too far behind. Until then Verizon users will have to be patient while their WiFi-only friends get to enjoy the 3.2 update.
