Vodafone UK Offers Free iPad To Customers?

Published

on

Thanks to Carl from CoolSmartPhone, he uncovered what looks like a new plan by Vodafone UK that they are offering where they are giving iPads away for free in the sense that there will be no upfront payment of the device, i.e. maybe paying $200 and being tied to a 2-year contract.

Instead the device will be given away with no upfront payment but the catch is that you will need to pay a bit more for the iPad’s data plan and be tied down to a 2-year contract, which is standard. As it stands the current plan is running at 27 GBP per month, so the increase will be an additional 5 GBP, bringing it to a total of 32 GBP per month. This deal is currently available to existing customers on Vodafone’s UK network but the downside is that as we all know, the iPad 2 is currently facing product shortages, partly due to its popularity and partly due to some manufacturing issues, so you might have to wait quite a bit before the device is delivered to you.
