When Verizon first brought the iPhone into its portfolio it brought along with it a $30 a month unlimited data plan which Verizon had stressed at that time would be a limited time offer only. For the rest of the year Verizon has constantly been announcing their decision to move to a tiered data plan instead. However when an attempt to reach Verizon about whether their current customers who had signed on for the unlimited data plan will be able to continue to enjoy it even after the discontinuation of the plan, there was no comments by Verizon yet.

Verizon also has not released any specifics of what their tiered data plan will look like or how much it will cost but there was been speculations that for starters, the plan should be looking at $30 a month for 2GB of data to $80 a month for 10GB, although this is not confirmed. The tiered data plan is also said to come into effect 7th of July which should be about 2-3 weeks time, so stay tuned!
