Unlocked iPhone 4 Coming This Wednesday?

iPhone’s used to be exclusive to AT&T when they first came out as per their deal with Apple, and then when that deal ended we saw Verizon getting their own version of the iPhone, which gave users more options but at the same time still locked them to a carrier. Now if the rumors are true it looks like customers in the US will soon be able to get their hands on an unlocked iPhone 4, meaning absolutely no ties with carriers.

It’s more than likely that we will be seeing GSM versions of the unlocked iPhone 4’s as opposed to Verizon’s CDMA version which why still technically feasible, its limited use outside of the US doesn’t make it a very appealing prospect to customers who are planning to buy an unlocked iPhone 4 to use outside of the States.

A claim has also stated that Apple stores have already begun receiving stock in both colors (black and white) and both capacities (16GB and 32GB). No word on how much the phones will cost unlocked but I guess we will have to wait until Wednesday to find out.
