GPS navigation apps can be pricey at times, although some provide excellent features that may help you to justify the price you’re paying. The good news is that if you were hoping to get your hands on the TomTom app, but found it too pricey for your liking during normal times, it looks as though the app is now on discount for a price of $39.99 for US and Canada maps. If you don’t really see yourself driving up or around Canada that often, then the US-only maps will cost you $34.99.
We recently reported that the app had received an update in the form of HD Traffic which supposedly will show you traffic congestion on both “main” and “secondary” roads in the US. So there was ever a good time to get TomTom, we’re guessing that it is now.
